Marlene (adopted)

Update:

She lost her first mom quite recently to depression and eventually suicide.
Ten plus years of her life.
Her previous home was dark and cluttered.
Her psychological condition was nervous and timid.
After less than a month things have changed drastically for this animal and we’re so happy to have been a part of this.
She’s got a new name, she’s got a new life.
Meet Mariah.
She is to be added to our list of “failed fosters”.
Her new mom Denise can’t imagine life without her, calls her a diva, (hence the name) and will share her beautiful, big, warm home with her.
Mariah is no longer nervous, loves cuddles and rubs.
Mariah closes her chapter with us and begins her new life officially with her new mom.
Mariah wishes us all a goodnight from her new home.
We wish her a good, full, bright life!
Goodnight Mariah, sleep well, tonight, tomorrow and always.♥️

In her new home…, April 2020

The little lady is in our care now. She will go to a foster home but we are desperately seeking a forever home.

Five minutes after being introduced to her new foster home, world meet our newest senior girl, Marlene❤️
She is the little lady rescued yesterday after her mom passed away.

She has a whole bedroom to herself.

She’ll be okay.

Now all she needs is a home❤️

Her mom loved her very much and made sure she was neutered and vaccinated.
The social worker told me that the animal was house trained but on the “dark days” of her owners depression sometimes the animal resorted to either be let out to walk herself or she had accidents in the home.
It is a very sensitive little senior, please, consider her❤️

A sixty one year old woman went to the general hospital in Chania yesterday for exams. She went up to the third floor of the hospital and jumped out of the window.

We have been informed that she has a dog at home, an old dog, who won’t get off of her bed. Tomorrow we will go to the home of the deceased woman to get custody of the animal.

We would love to have a foster for this animal.

It would be horrible and traumatizing to put this animal in the shelter.

Please, open your home to this dog. It is a small, old dog.

Its life has just changed drastically and it needs one on one support.
