Update 14.8.2025:

What can we tell you about our Cosima? She’s our little Christmas miracle as she and her siblings arrived around Christmas 2023.

Since then, she’s been waiting. She grew up. She saw her brother leave, then her sister. But she stayed. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months… and still, nobody seems to notice the absolute treasure she is.

That’s not just heartbreaking – it’s a shame. Cosima is a shepherd mix and embodies all the best traits of her breed: She’s incredibly people-oriented, loyal and eager to please. Cosima will do almost anything for a treat, which makes her a joy to train. She gets along well with her friends, though she can be dominant by nature.

And yes – she can get a little jealous if she’s not getting her fair share of attention. As you can probably tell, Cosima absolutely LOVES our volunteers, her cuddle sessions are always the highlight of her day. They’re definitely each other’s emotional support!

Cosima is a sassy queen, ready to follow you through life and devote herself entirely to you. Nothing would make her happier than receiving all the love and attention she dreams of every single day – something she simply can’t get in the shelter.

She’s almost 2 years old now and weighs around 24kg. Are you ready for a lifelong best friend, cuddle partner and adventure buddy? Consider beautiful Cosima.

She has grown into a very beautiful dog and is ready to dicover the world.

Her story:

Meet Cosima, an adorable puppy born in September 2024, currently finding warmth and care at Souda Shelter. Cosima is part of a trio of siblings, including Joanna and Alfi, who, sadly, were left behind.

But Cosima is a little sweetheart, bringing joy to everyone around her!

Despite facing some tough times, Cosima, along with her siblings, has created a mini-family at Souda Shelter. She’s a playful and lovable pup, always ready to share her affection with those who cross her path.

The shelter staff takes good care of them, but what Cosima really dreams of is a loving family to call her own.

Cosima’s wagging tail and charming presence remind us that even in challenging situations, there’s room for happiness.

The Souda Shelter team is hoping that soon Cosima, along with her brothers Alfi and Joanna, will find a forever home where they can be showered with love and make wonderful memories.
