Update March 2026:
What an elegant young lady! She’s currently 7 months old and weighs 12 kg. She was found along with her siblings at a junkyard 5 months ago, and since then she has grown up in our care. Unfortunately, just like her siblings, she was recently diagnosed with Leishmania. We truly hope this won’t lower her chances and that someone will look past the diagnosis. More information about Leishmania can be found on our website. She is currently symptom free.
Navarro is an energetic young beauty. Outside, she is curious and open, climbing and jumping everywhere. Sometimes she can be a little insecure, but she is learning quickly and becoming more confident every day.

World, welcome our Junkyard pups! Welcome Hoth, Kamina, Endor, Naboo and Navarro. Aren’t they sweet?
Elizabeth never had the chance to formally introduce you to these babies, a lot of babies were being admitted to the shelter at that time. These five little guys were abandoned up the block from us at the junkyard. The folks working there could not host them so we took them in.
