Milo – Handicaped

Milo – Handicaped

A few weeks back, a mom and three baby kittens were brought to us because the mom was not looking well at all.

The same day she came to us, a few hours later, she died. Panleukopenia, cat parvovirus, was the diagnosis. We also lost one of the three kittens after a few days.

Two kitties left, Milo and Fos.

Both have neurological issues after being contaminated by the virus. The virus is gone but the handicap remains.

From what we were informed by two vets, their mobility CAN improve with physical therapy, steady flooring (carpeting), etc.

The white one FOS has been adopted.

Milo, the one most affected by the virus has not been adopted.

Can you find it in your heart to have him? This special little boy?

We have bought them a cat tree and have made sure to give them lots of stimuli to help regenerate the damage. We hope the best for him. He’s been through enough.

Please consider a physically challenged animal. It is not as difficult or impossible as you might think. On the contrary, it is rewarding and as manageable as an animal without physical disabilities.
