Update July 2026:
Have you met Hubert?
Hubert is an eight year old, neglected, village cat who came to us with extreme respiratory issues, cat flu, bad teeth and everything else you might be able to have EXCEPT FIV/FeLv, thank God!
We have had him for a total of 10 months.
Ten months of intensive care.
He has had teeth removed, gums treated and bronchial therapy (inhalers and such).
He is so kind and patient, although he was not at first. It is almost as if he knows we are on his side and he sits for the various therapies.
He is doing great (for Hubert standards).
His breathing is slightly labored but nothing in comparison to what he was.
And nothing life threatening for the moment!
Now he no longer has to focus on miserable health but the cuddles he can receive from his caretakers!
We would love to release him back to his village but his lungs would not withstand the winter months.
Hubert needs to be indoors.
It’s also not fair to have him in a crate for so long.

He is castrated and vaccinated and ready to go! Would you be Hubert’s partner in life? His cuddle provider? He really has taken a huge liking to the human kind, click for the video below.
