Paprika (adopted)

It’s been a while since we’ve shared our gorgeous Paprika – but don’t worry, we won’t keep her from you any longer!
Paprika is a one-of-a-kind dog who has, heartbreakingly, been overlooked time and time again.
She’s a bright, energetic, and strong-willed young girl who simply doesn’t thrive in the shelter environment. What she really needs is a home that can meet her emotional and physical needs – and someone who sees just how special she is.
She’s not just a pretty face: Paprika is intelligent, curious, and quick to learn. She already knows basic commands and walks nicely on a leash. She’s playful and full of life – she loves to run, explore, and wrestle with her friends. While she can be dominant in nature, she fits in beautifully with her group.
Paprika is also incredibly affectionate with people. Whether she’s snuggling up or simply enjoying some quiet attention, she gives her whole heart in return.
She’s about 1 year and 4 months old (born in April 2024) and weighs around 23 kg. This girl is strong in both body and spirit. She needs someone who can offer her consistent guidance, patience, and love. She’s not a low-maintenance dog – but she’s absolutely worth the effort. Please help us find her person.

Paprika has so much to offer but she is still at our shelter. Who sees her?
Update 29.9.2024:
Paprika has grown a little. She loves playing with her playmates but is focused when a human gives her attention. She needs a home!
Her stroy:
Paprika, a girl, (short: Rika), was left down the road with her siblings.
As first Brokkoli and Zuchini and then a few days later Paprika, Kuerbis and Chicoree were left and look similar we assume they are siblings.
They were born in April 2024. They will probably be a bit bigger. Look at her big smile! Welcome!
