Cody (adopted)
Update 12.12.2024:
They found him on vacation, wandering in the area they were staying.
They checked to see to whom he belonged, allowed him to visit them in their room, took him to groomers and could not bear to think that when they were gone he would be at the mercy of God, alone again on the streets, so they contacted us.
We took in this feisty little jalapeño, named him Cody and acclimated him to our gang. Boy did he enjoy the ruckus!
But Simon and Jo could not stop thinking about him and soon enough, they let us know they would have him in England.
So our story ends happily with Cody in a warm home, ready to greet the holiday season!
Happy holidays Cody, Simon and Jo, wishing all of our dogs have the same fate!
His stpory:
Cody was born around August 2022 and he is a small, male dog.
“Thank you to The Souda Shelter Project for taking in this gorgeous boy, Cody. He’d been abandoned in the mountain village we were staying in. His fur was all matted and he was existing on scraps from tourists – after October, there is no one around.
We ensured he had a hair cut, neutered and vaccinations.
We have a (nervous) dog at home, so sadly can’t take him. He would make a wonderful pet for someone – he walks well on the lead and was great when he spent a day at the beach with us. He’s only young and so loving; I would hate to think that he’ll spend too much time at the shelter. Please consider adopting him if possible and sharing this post with friends in Crete or elsewhere. “
