Casper

Casper

A dog was tied up outside the shelter one night. However, it wasn’t tied very secure, and the dog managed to break free.

By morning, all we found was the torn piece of rope. A little later, we heard our dogs barking loudly — the kind of barking that tells you something’s really happening. A thin, black dog was pacing up and down the street. It was immediately clear that this was the dog who had been tied outside and was now returning to the spot where his owner had abandoned him, all alone.

It took the entire morning and the dedicated efforts of our wonderful volunteer, Larissa, to catch him, but we finally succeeded!

CASPER is an incredibly charming and sensitive dog who’s gradually coming out of his shell. He longs for warmth and security and always seeks the company of humans.

He loves to be close to people, wrapping them in his “hugs” and never wanting to let go. He gets along well with other dogs but is still reserved within larger groups.

He doesn’t enjoy too much hustle and bustle. We’re looking for a calm and peaceful home for Casper. Having a confident and friendly dog in the household would likely give him a sense of security, but it’s not essential. Once he feels safe, Casper’s playful and funny side truly shines! So please consider opening your home to this beautiful soul.
