Dominica

This little girl has already had a lot of drama in her short life.

Her story:

First she was dropped in front of the shelter at a time when nobody was there.

“Hello, i dropped off a puppy in front of the shelter. I found a homeless puppy at the iguana beach. It needed help I kept her for a few days but l’m from **** and I had to go back home on a ship. So I had no choice but to drop her off at the shelter I tried dropping her off inside but everytime I went it was closed so on my last day in greece which was yesterday I dropped her off in front of the building. Her name is sandy and she had a damaged left eye.
If i could’ve taken her with me. I would’ve.
Please if you find her let me know when will you put her up for adoption I want to see her be safe”
HOW CAN A BABY BE SAFE WITH THE HIGHWAY JUST METERS AWAY.”
(There was a dumpster with something red dropping from it)
The little puppy was gone and we feared the worst.
We never found out what was in the dumpster.
The garbage truck came in the middle of the night and picked up the garbage and did not inform us of what was inside.
Today we were so pleasantly informed that the puppy lives!!!!
A local rescuer sent us this photo which confirms that the little German shepherd girl lives!!!
Her outstanding characteristic was a bad eye, which this one has!
But again, she had poor luck.
She has been found in an airbnb in the Stalos area, over 15 km away from Souda, where she was initially dumped.
The story goes that some girls were on vacation, had picked up the animal from the time everyone lost track of it, kept the puppy with them in their rental and then just left, abandoning the dog in the rental with a pack of puppy pads! WTF! See photo below, just as she was found!
We are scheduled to get her tomorrow.
I will be shaking in my boots till I have her in my arms.
This little girl has been thru so much, bounced around and abandoned.
So, we got her at last.
Here you can see her at the vet:
So her story has changed for the better!
Now she needs a good home!
