Osgood (adopted)

Osgood (adopted)

Update 14.3.2022:

Osgood was a dog who had come as a six month old from a bad place. The previous rescuer had a space in the middle of the city, not even 30 sq. mtr. with over 50 dogs in it. No windows, no ventilation.
A hell hole.
Igor was with four of his brothers: Igor, Marlon, Baron and Badoo.
These dogs were unapproachable.
They were scared to death of humans. Scared to death.
They stayed with us in the shelter for over five years and NEVER, really never got to connect with us. They would bark initially and maybe stop barking after getting used to us but touching them was a no go.
And look at Osgood now.
(The same goes for Igor and Marlon and for Baron and for Badoo.)
In bed with actually his brother Igor’s owner, he is being fostered and has come to visit his brother.
Osgood is resting, Osgood is trusting, Osgood is peaceful.
And it is not like they have known each other for long, they have met a hand full of times, he has been in Germany only for a few weeks.
Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks?
Don’t overlook the scared dogs, the cautious dogs, the unsocialized dogs at the shelter when picking your next best friend.
Who knows, they could be the cuddliest cutey on the planet.
Adopt a special animal today. Osgood is up for adoption after a very thorough check of the potential owner.
BTW the last of the brothers is still at the shelter, Baron.

Update 10.9.2021:

His story:

(Osgood, January 2020)

They grew up together with a rough start to the first few years but they have come such a long way since then.

Osgood is probably the one with the most energy. He is funny and playful and loves water and who knows maybe he would like a swim!

(Osgood with Xania, January 2020)

If you love playing and having fun with dogs this would be a great way to bond with each other and his trust to grow.
